Library users may access the following databases from computer workstations
located at the Horsham Township Library.

Many of these same databases can be accessed "remotely," that is, from a computer at your home, school or office. When using remote access, you will be asked to type in your library card's 14-digit barcode number to validate you as a user covered by the terms of the applicable subscription contract. BookFlix	BookFlix: Streaming videos and book-related learning games for young children from Scholastic.
World Book Online	World Book Online contains every article from the print encyclopedia plus thousands more. It includes state-of-the-art multimedia, maps, editor-reviewed Web sites, special reports, and audio-video clips.
Database access from the Pennsylvania Online World of Electronic Resources - P.O.W.E.R. Library.
P.O.W.E.R. Library	A selection of database subscriptions underwritten by a statewide master contract negotiated by the State Library of Pennsylvania. Database access underwritten by a portion of the County Coordination Aid appropriation to the Montgomery County- Norristown Public Library by the Pennsylvania Legislature.
Philadelphia Inquirer Index	NewsBank Index to the Philadelphia Inquirer from 1981 to the present.
ReferenceUSA	The ReferenceUSA database contains, in module format, detailed information on more than 12 million U.S. businesses; 102 million U.S. residents; 683,000 U.S. health care providers; 1 million Canadian businesses; and 11 million Canadian residents. Due to cuts made in state funding affecting library "County Coordination Aid," these databases can be searched only from a computer inside the Horsham Township Library. Remote access from home, school or office is no longer available.
Learning Express	The Learning Express library is an interactive online learning platform of practice tests and tutorial course series designed to help patrons, students, and adult learners succeed on the academic or licensing tests they must pass.
Heritage Quest	Heritage Quest is a genealogy website from ProQuest that enables users to search US Census records, the PERSI index of genealogy and local history articles, Revolutionary War era pension and bounty-land warrant application files, and records from the Freedman's Bank spanning the years 1865-1874.
Tumblebooks	Tumblebooks is a collection of animated, talking picture books for young children. You will need the Flash plug-in from Macromedia to hear the animation. To download the free Flash plug-in go to Macromedia.
Willow Grove Naval Air Station Administrative Record.
Willow Grove Naval Air Station Administrative Record	The Willow Grove Naval Air Station has provided copies of the documents that comprise its Administrative Record. These documents pertain to assessments of enviromnental hazards on the base, plans for remediation, and actions taken to clean up pollution.
